DIsfrutando el silencio...

Bueno, es hora de volver a la realidad despues de un fin de semana lleno de adrenalina, musica, flashbacks, gastos, viajes, regiomontanas, amigos, más regiomontanas, depeche mode y synth pop con toques de rock oscuron. Las anecdotas dan para un libro, así que sólo dire que de esos conciertos se hablará por décadas. Ahora nos queda disfrutar el silencio que procede a la tormenta.

El siguiente es un post que puse en un foro de fans de Depeche Mode:

Well, there is something about this moment: Originally the "strangemode" fan club in Mexico proposed one "special" thing for the final show, the idea was bring some wheat branches and waving them in the final of NLMDA. I think it was a very weird idea, and i think that the security guys thought the same :). The branches never could get into the venue and because of that many fans wanted desperately for another great and unforgettable final of the concert.

The answer came from above literaly :). At the very begining of the song (when martin is playing the intro riff) we could hear a very loud thunder, many of us thought that it was an special effect, like the higher love intro :), but the answer was the rain.

The rain created a magical moment, brought a very unique athmosphere of emotion and sadness encountered, like the lovers goodbye, like a dramatic departure. The rain created the poetic and perfect final of the shows in Mexico City, acid rain I thought, but rain after all. There was an epic moment, in the middle of the hands waving Dave came to the catwalk to get as wet as we were, he raised his hands in a very very powerful sing along of the crowd, and he lifted his face to the sky to recieve the blessing of the rain. I was at the left side of the catwalk and I could take all the song in video, but I found this video that captured a wider view of that moment. You can even see one thunder in the sky and the moment when Dave was in the catwalk waving his hands in the rain. Beautiful, simply unforgettable.
